PC in a text book

After a music album, Priyanka Chopra will now have her name imprinted in a text book. Word is that PC will feature in the first chapter of the Environmental Studies book which is part of the Springdale school’s curriculum. Springdale, which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, has partnerships with schools around the world, including schools from Australia, Great Britain and Germany.
A first-of-its-kind honour bestowed on an actress, in the book there is a story that has been adapted from PC’s life and talks about her upbringing in an army background. Priyanka, whose father was in the army, has spent her childhood in many places including Bareilly, Lucknow, Mumbai in India and Newton, Massachusetts and Iowa in the US.
“Talking about the wide exposure to people and places during her childhood, the first chapter is titled Roving Families, Shifting Homes. It uses the actress as an example. This is the first time an actress has been honoured in such a manner and it only goes to show her as a responsible icon for the youth,” say sources close to PC.
