For PeeCee, it’s a case of ‘Waah Taj!’

She may be quite the globetrotter — especially in her new avatar as international pop “icon” — but for Priyanka Chopra, there’s clearly no place like home. When asked about the most romantic location she’d ever shot at, PeeCee duly replied, “the Taj Mahal”.

“I never visited Agra just to see the Taj Mahal, but I’ve been there so many times now because of photo shoots or film shoots. In fact, just last year I was doing this Greenathon, an initiative that involved cleaning up the stretch of river behind the Taj. I think it is the most beautiful sight — at night especially. Under the moon you can see the marble sparkle.”
The actresses’ upcoming animated movie Planes, for which she’s lent her voice, has a sequence shot at the Taj. She says, “It was the perfect place I think to shoot a romantic escapade, as in the film. And I love the music in the back, a song from Guru. I loved doing that scene. It was a lot of fun.”
