Perform stunt, fracture finger

When all the stars of the just-released film Players, including Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu, were performing their own stunts, Neil Nitin Mukesh could hardly afford to do otherwise. The irony, however, was that he managed it all perfectly, only to suffer multiple fractures with the “easiest stunt” of them all.
Neil, it seems, pulled off rope tricks, back flips and wireworks. “The stunt was quite easy, and I just had to jump, but there were some biked above me, which fell on me. Each one weighed 25 kgs. One fell on my back, while one fractured my little finger,” he says.
Fortunately for him, they weren’t too serious, and even the little finger has healed enough. “I still can’t bend it. but it’s strong enough for me to play the piano now,” he adds.
