Filmmakers these days play it safe when they okay the script of a film before production begins.?The ending is usually tweaked to leave it open for a sequel if the movie does well. Milan Luthria’s recent blockbuster, the Ajay Devgn-Emraan Hashmi starrer, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai ended with the protagonist dying and the second-in-line fleeing the land. According to our source, Luthria is seriously toying with the idea of making a sequel to this hit.
Our source said, “Currently, Milan has taken off for a while to holiday abroad. Once back, he is not going to waste any time, but will seriously think whether Once upon a time... can be continued from where it concluded. Besides he is also impressed with Emraan Hashmi’s performance in the film.”
When contacted, the maverick director did not rule out the idea of a sequel, but laughed and said, “You never know.”
