Prateik to get second time lucky

Whether the film Second Time Lucky will prove to be exactly that for all parties involved — Prateik, Shoojit Sircar and Ahana Deol — is a question waiting to be answered. While Prateik and Ahana were initially supposed to co-star in Romeo and Juliet, things didn’t work out, and this may finally be the project they work on together. For Yahaan director Shoojit too, this is his second chance at making a go in Bollywood.
But for Prateik especially, the film comes at a crucial time. “My Friend Pinto was Prateik’s first solo lead project, and now that it has bombed, everyone will want to see how his second attempt plays out,” says a trade source.
Another person who is sure to be watching out for the project will be Hema Malini, who had wanted Ahana to be launched in Romeo and Juliet. Well, second chances aren’t to be scorned!
