A private bash for private Bips

2011 — and the first few days of 2012 — have been stressful ones for Bipasha Basu. But the Bong beauty’s sister, Bidisha, and a gang of friends ensured that Bips brought in her birthday (on Friday) in style. Bidi had planned a surprise bash for her sister’s 33rd birthday at a posh Mumbai restaurant. However, the venue did not work out, and the party was shifted to Bips’ Bandra residence. Close friends like Deanne Pandey and designer Rocky S attended the bash.
“Last year was a very stressful one for Bipasha. But she has started this year on a positive note with Players garnering a good response, and her family and friends wanted to make it even more special for her,” our source said, adding, “Bips too is a complete homebody, and has been travelling incessantly for the past few months, so we wanted an arrangement that was completely comfortable for her.”
