Priyanka is likely to star with Ajay
In these days of multi-starrers and remakes, there is always a tussle at the production end about choices. All the leading actresses are much in demand and their personal rapport and box office history with the heroes plays a part in who gets chosen.
After Golmaal 3, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have begun their work on the remake of the Tamil film Singham. And there is major speculation about who will play the female lead.
Sources inform that Rohit Shetty has zeroed on in three names. His first choice was his lucky lady Kareena Kapoor since he has already worked with her in Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3 and is comfortable with her. These two films have been box office hits too. But Kareena has no dates to spare. The actress will start shooting for Bodyguard with Salman and Reema Kagti’s next with Aamir. She also has Karan Johar’s Short Term Shaadi.
“Now the director is planning to approach Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It remains to be seen who will finally land a role opposite Ajay in the movie,” adds our source. Singham is an action flick that starred Suriya and Anushka.
