Projects keep knocking on Nikhil’s door
The necessity for a godfather may be well known in Bollywood, but Nikhil Dwivedi is one of those actors who’re determined to make it on their own.
Despite having no filmi connection to boast of, Nikhil is steadily making inroads into Bollywood, whether it was his debut in E. Niwas’ My Name is Anthony Gonsalves, or bagging Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, alongside Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Also in his kitty are meaty projects like Navdeep Singh’s dark thriller Basra with Abhay Deol, who is also producing the film. Another edgy flick, Balaji Telefilms’ Shor, and Matric Pass will follow. Nikhil is also essaying the role made famous by Sunny Deol in the remake of Arjun.
Nikhil believes in being selective about his films, which is why he is not on a signing spree. Instead his role selections show considerable diversity. With this approach and the work he’s putting in, we sure hope Nikhil will hit the big leagues in Bollywood soon.
