Ramu will not delay the release

Department seems to be wrapped in rumours and here’s a new one. Apparently, the release of the film has been postponed because of some post-production patchwork.

Says a source, “There is still some work left to be done. Since Sanjay Dutt wanted the film’s climax to be re-shot, it ate into the time that could have been dedicated to some post-production work. It’s a race against time now and we feel the release may be delayed by a week.” It’s also being said that the film wants to avoid competition from the much-hyped Ishaqzaade and Dangerous Ishhq.
Ramu, however, is quick to quash such rumours. “It’s untrue that the film has been postponed. Department is arriving on May 18 and that’s final. The promos are carrying the same date, so there is no question of any changes,” he says.
