The buzz around Dum Maro Dum has hardly been about anything other than Deepika Padukone’s sizzling act in the film’s title song. However, it’s not just the leggy lass who’s benefited because of the film. Rana Dagubbati, the six-footer hunk is also garnering a lot of attention for his debut flick. Rana, who has a cosy twosome with Bipasha Basu in Dum Maro Dum, has the producers queuing up to sign him for their films, and he’s even touted as the next big thing.

Rana’s already been offered the negative role opposite Hrithik Roshan in the sequel to Krrish. The role was earlier offered to Ajay Devgn, who refused it. However, Rana is still considering it, as it’s an anti-hero role. But Rana’s presence in Bollywood is creating a stir and directors are eagerly waiting to see how the film turns out. But all will still depend on the film’s performance at the box office. For now, it’s wait and watch for the “next big thing”.
