Ranbir backs out of Silence?

Although Anurag Basu is going all out speaking about his upcoming films Silence and the biopic on Kishore Kumar — both of which feature Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles — the fact of the matter is that Ranbir Kapoor is no longer keen to do either of the films, especially after he saw the fate of Kites which was Basu’s last project.

Our source said, “Ranbir was supposed to start Silence earlier this year. However, it is yet unclear and no announcement has been made by Ranbir about doing the film. Although Basu claims that the casting is in progress, none of the actresses seem to be coming forward to sign the film. Basu is just giving interviews so that the film remains in the news which is strange behaviour, coming from a talented director like him. Also, Ranbir is showing no signs of allotting any dates and the film is far from underway.”
So will Ranbir break his silence and talk about the movie he is doing or in this case, not doing?
