Ranbir comes to the rescue again
Shooting in the bylanes of Delhi has always been a challenge for Bollywood stars. And when the man in question is Ranbir Kapoor, one can only imagine the mayhem. Recently he and his Besharam co-star, Pallavi Sharda, had to ride a scooter through the busy streets of old Delhi for a particular sequence. It was Pallavi who was actually riding while Ranbir was occupying the pillion seat.
A source says, “It was one of the toughest rides for Pallavi. She was riding a scooter for the first time, the crowds were difficult to control and she was responsible for Ranbir’s safety. After all, you cannot hurt a superstar and delay the shoot; his dates come at a premium.” Pallavi took a couple of rounds by herself before the camera started rolling. She didn’t have to face much trouble from the crowds, as she’s not a known face. But all that changed once Ranbir came into the picture.
A crewmember says, “Out of nowhere hundreds of people emerged and gathered around their scooter. Then Ranbir had to come to her rescue. He helped her not just go through the shot but also navigate through the crowds that were multiplying every minute. Pallavi heaved a sigh of relief when director Abhinav Kashyap called ‘cut’. After thanking Ranbir profusely for his helping hand, she was more than happy to say adieu to the scooter.” No wonder Ranbir is such a hit with the ladies.
