Ranbir has a grand time at Aamir’s bash

Aamir Khan’s Diwali bashes are quite the select affair, but this year’s do featured several first timers. Among them was Ranbir Kapoor, who put in a solo appearance (amid talk that he was inexplicably missing from the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which his parents have a special appearance in).

Ranbir seemed to be having a great time at the bash as he spent most of the evening hobnobbing with B’town bestie Imran Khan and his wife Avantika. The trio seemed to be trading laughs and gossip about their circle of friends. While Ranbir got a lot of attention, there was a special “guest”, also a first timer, who outshone even the hunky actor.
Aamir and Kiran’s little son Azad was the cynosure of all eyes as he put in a charming appearance a little after 11 pm. “Azad was asleep, but he woke up in time to be brought to the party to meet the guests. It was his first Diwali, but he was in his element and everyone who met him was charmed,” said a guest present at the do. “Aamir’s other kids, Junaid and Ira bonded with Azad really well.”
