Rani talks of matrimony

At the time when the industry is gearing up for Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s royal wedding, it is inevitable that Rani Mukherjee will also be asked questions about her impending marriage to filmmaker Aditya Chopra. And Rani admitted to us that yes, her family is thinking about her wedding.

“No matter how successful I am, my parents do feel that their daughter should settle down. But it will happen at the destined time,” says the normally reserved Rani.
Talking about her success, a large part of it was due to the films she did with the YRF banner. With veteran filmmaker, YRF honcho (and Rani’s pa-in-law-to-be) Yash Chopra now retiring from direction, we wonder what Rani has to say. “It’s a big loss, but we have to respect his decision. We will always celebrate romance the way he envisioned,” she says.
For Rani, the end is far from near. She asserts that she will continue to act post-marriage, even as she admits that she’s started taking on fewer projects.
