Ranveer’s not fazed

Is it a case of once bitten-twice shy? After his on again-off again relationship with Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh seems keen to avoid a similar situation with Sonakshi Sinha. Quite a few contradictory statements about Ranveer have been attributed to Sona — sometimes he’s a “good friend”, sometimes she dislikes his attitude. Small wonder then, that Ranveer wants to keep his distance.
“After the experience with Anushka, Ranveer has wised up in a big way,” says a source close to the actor. “The last one year taught him that everything people in this industry say, needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. As an outsider, he has goofed up occasionally, but Ranveer is now making a conscious effort to distance himself from it all. And that’s exactly why, with all the statements that Sonakshi is supposed to have made regarding him, he prefers to not respond.”
Ranveer isn’t expressing those sentiments — at least, not in public. He says, “I have read that apparently, Sonakshi didn’t say nice things about me, but I don’t buy that. So far my interaction with Sonakshi has been fine. She has always been nice to me.”
