Ranveer’s so very lonely

They say it’s lonely at the top. Well, for Ranveer Singh, it’s lonely wherever he’s at right now. The Band Baaja Baraat boy planned to celebrate his success in B’town by organising the mother of all birthday bashes. Considering that he is the blue-eyed boy of Yash Raj, Ranveer had every reason to expect that everyone on his high profile invitee list would show up. However, as things turned out, Ranveer ended up spending a rather lonely birthday. The reason: His recent tiffs with ladylove Anushka Sharma and the hectic shoot schedule for his upcoming YRF film Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl.
“Yes, it is true that Ranveer had a rather quiet birthday,” admits a source from the production house. “This despite the fact that he had planned a huge party as a double celebration for his birthday and for the plethora of debutant awards he’s picked up for Band Baaja.”
The sudden change of plans had everyone touting Ranveer’s rather rocky parting with Anushka as the reason. “He has not taken it well,” our source said. However, Ranveer’s manager says the celebration was called off, as Ranveer wants to keep things quiet for a while. “Even professionally, he is keeping a low profile,’ his manager said. “But he has lots to say and he will soon interact with the media.” Oh, and won’t we have some questions to ask when he does!
