Ranveer takes a dig at Ranbir

Ranveer Singh seems to be living up to his bad boy image. The actor who was recently chosen as an ambassador for a popular mobile phone brand was dropped off the contract after he made a rather stinging remark about his contemporary Ranbir Kapoor.

Buzz is that Ranveer had agreed to all the terms and conditions in the brand’s contract and even performed during the launch of their new series, but was dropped at the eleventh hour for mocking rival Ranbir Kapoor. “Rockstars die out,” he stated on stage during the launch.
According to close sources, Ranveer’s increasing tantrums and constant interference had upset the concerned people. But that’s not the only reason. “His current look for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela was also a cause of concern for the brand. They would have preferred a clean-shaven look, but Ranveer, bound by his character, could not oblige,” says our source.
Now that’s a catch-22 situation for any actor.
