Reticent Shahid to host Iifa awards

It looks like Shahid Kapoor, infamously reticent and cagey, is finally starting to be seen as a more “outgoing” person.

Shahid, who would think twice before even making a public appearance until recently, is all set to go up on stage and host the prestigious Iifa awards.
“Shahid’s exuberance and energy on stage is at par with the best of the industry. While it is true that he is quite shy and it took him a long time to shed inhibitions and shyness, he has since realised the potential of the stage. Since many days now, Shahid has been meeting the officials and perfecting his act,” confirms his spokesperson.
To give Shahid company on stage, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have both agreed to appear as co-hosts. “He has high regards for both Hrithik and SRK, and them sharing the stage with him will complete the package,” our source says.
