Rishi-Paresh unite after 14 years

For veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, the year 2012 was a landmark. While the former shone as a cold-blooded villain in Agneepath, Paresh managed to score one of his biggest successes as a central protagonist in OMG — Oh My God. And now, the two powerhouse performers will come together in an untitled venture.

“Rishi and Paresh will be playing central protagonists in this comedy. While Rishi plays a boisterous Punjabi, Paresh Rawal would be enacting a meek Gujarati and the two men will be seen at daggers drawn.”
The film will be directed by Sanjay Chhel. When contacted, Rishi Kapoor confirmed the developments. “Work on the script is still going on but in principle I am on board”, he said. Incidentally, the last time Rishi and Paresh had come together was for Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999) where the former had directed latter.
Now this comeback will surely be something to watch out for.
