Rivals for Ra.One?

What the big Khans have refrained from doing, a bunch of not-so-prominent actors have. Ra.One’s Diwali release will now coincide with the “comeback” films of actors like Govinda, Esha Deol and Himesh Reshammiya, leading industry watchers to question if they are suffering from bad timing — or misplaced bravado.
While Himesh is returning to the screen with Damdamadam, and Esha with Tell Me Oh Khuda, it is Govinda’s Loot that’s trying hard to make a mark. “Having Suneil Shetty (who is also producing Loot) may just help the film, as might a new item number that has been picturised on Rakhi Sawant,” says a trade analyst. Let’s hope the festive season doesn’t spell doom for these Ra.One rivals.
