Saif a guest in his own film
Though superstars like Salman, Shah Rukh or Hrithik have often made cameo appearances for their friends from the industry, those like Aamir, Akshay or Saif have consistently stayed away. But for the first time in over a decade, Saif Ali Khan has agreed to a cameo role, albeit for his home production Go Goa Gone. The film, which stars Kunal Khemu and Vir Das in lead roles, will have Saif pitch in and add star quotient.
“In a career spanning over two decades, Saif has played a cameo just once, for Biwi No. 1,” points out a source. “But for Go Goa Gone, he will be seen in a few crucial scenes, while letting Kunal and Vir remain the driving force of the film.”
Admitting the news, Saif says, “Yes, I have made a guest appearance in the film. It is an interesting zombie comedy and I have a good cameo. Ultimately, it is a show run by Kunal and Vir. They are talented youngsters and it is about time that they make a good impression.”
