Saif signs Sriram again

With champagne being popped along with Cocktail, the disappointment of Agent Vinod seems to have been left far behind. Saif, who was very disappointed when Agent Vinod didn’t do well at the box office, would be making another film with the director of spy thriller, Sriram Raghavan. The film is expected to go on floors early next year.

“The subject has already been locked. Sriram has been giving finishing touches to the film and a formal announcement would be made soon,” says a source, adding, “Saif was very disappointed when Agent Vinod didn’t do well at the box office, but he wants to leave everything behind and has decided to sign Sriram to direct another film under his banner.”
The source, however, adds that Saif may not feature in the “untitled” film as an actor. “There is a very good probability that another actor would be roped in. Saif would be stepping in only as a producer,” reveals the source.
Well, if this does happen, it would be a first for the Pataudi Khan, since he has played the lead actor in each of the films made under his banner.
Touted to be a slick and edgy dramatic thriller, Sriram is expected to revisit the Ek Haseena Thi and Johnny Gaddaar days. The film’s leading lady would be revealed soon.
It would be interesting to see how Saif keeps his hands off the film.
