Sajid-KJo keep bigwigs engaged
Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala seem to be looking forward to a rather eventful year ahead. Sajid is gearing to start his debut directorial affair Kick in the second half of the year, with Salman Khan in the lead. But that isn’t the only film which is keeping him occupied. With numerous independent as well as partnership affairs in his kitty, Sajid is pretty much at par with KJo who is also creatively involved in over half a dozen films.
“Sajid is preparing hard for Kick. It is a huge responsibility for him since Salman is not just a numero uno superstar but also his friend. However in the months leading to its filming, he would have more or less finished three other projects — 2 States, Highway and Heropanti,” says a source.
As for Karan, he has kept his next directorial outing on hold till next year. “Till then, he wants to see the release of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ungli and Gippi, He also wants to Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, kick-start Gutka and Shuddhi before bringing Dostana 2 on the floors,” a source says.
With stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Imran Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan working on their films, one can safely say that Sajid and Karan are keeping a good part of the industry bigwigs engaged.
