Days after the Salman Khan-Sajid Nadiadwala clash over the similar release dates for Ek Tha Tiger and Housefull 2 was reported in the media, part two of the saga is now being played out. To counter their competitor in the audience footfall stakes, Sajid is going all out to ensure that Housefull 2 looks like the more attractive option.
So while all the stars in this `75 crore film have been asked to pull up their socks in the publicity department, Sajid is also launching a very expensive contest to entice moviegoers. The prize is reportedly a house with a price tag of `1 crore.
Says a source close to the producer, “I wonder how Salman will respond to this overture of Sajid’s. What will YRF and Salman offer audiences if they were to launch a similar promotional contest — a tiger?”
