Salim Khan gives Big B’s bash a miss

The turnout at Big B’s 70th birthday bash was no less than that of a glitzy Bollywood awards night. But despite the huge turnout, there were some whose inconspicuous absence didn’t go unnoticed by the paparazzi.

From what we hear, the Big B had sent out a formal and personal invitation to Salman’s father Salim Khan and left out Tiger Khan (for obvious reasons). But the otherwise reclusive screenwriter gave this bash a miss too.
“Salim Khanji has worked very closely with Amitabh Bachchan during his heydays in the ’70’s and ’80’s. One would have expected him to show up at such a special gathering. But since he also opted out, son-in-law Atul Agnihotri was the only one who represented the entire Khan clan,” says an eyewitness.
