Sallu calls the shots

Salman Khan has taken charge of his next film Mental and wants to incorporate some last minute changes to the script. His brother Sohail Khan, who has already shot some portions of the film, will now require to re-shoot them, thereby increasing the cost of the film considerably.

Sources say that Salman has asked Sohail for a free hand to incorporate the changes. They also say that Salman has become very brazen about his success. A close friend of the star says, “Salman has grown up surrounded by films, so I don’t think his sensibility to enhance a script should be doubted.”
However, his interference is apparently driving Sohail up the wall. And it has certainly put Sajid Nadiadwala in a tight spot who is now wary about something similar happening to his next film Kick, his first directorial venture.
Looks like from a superstar, Salman is well on his way to becoming a script consultant too.
