Salman, Abhi bury the hatchet

Mumbai socialites Anu and Sunny Dewan ending up playing inadvertent peacemakers when their Christmas Eve bash served as the place for Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan to reconcile. The duo haven’t shared the most cordial of relationships ever since AB’s baby began dating Salman’s ex, Ash.

At about 2.15 am, Salman walked into the party with his brothers and their respective wives. Salman was in good mood, when at about 3 am, Abhishek made a late entry with wife Aishwarya in tow. Not long after, their paths crossed.
Guests were astonished when Abhishek walked up to Salman and broke the ice. “Salman reciprocated warmly. The two actors chatted for a long time. We thought either Salman or Abhishek would make a quiet and quick exit, but they both stayed on till 5 am,” a guest shared. “Aishwarya had settled in one corner.”
The Bachchans and Khans go back a long way, to the days when Salim Khan and Amitabh Bachchan worked together in the ’70s. But the Ash factor had soured the equation. Clearly, AB Junior and Sallu want to bury the hatchet.
