Salman and SRK at war yet again

On Thursday morning the media went into overdrive as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan locked horns yet again. The two superstars decided to schedule their respective brand launches on the same day, at the same time. This isn’t the first time that the two have tried to outdo each other.

Industry insiders have always maintained that for these two Khans, it has always been about who gets more coverage. This also puts to rest all the whispers about an impending patch up between the two.
“Salman’s Being Human event was planned well in advance and the invites were sent a week ago. It was Shah Rukh’s event that sprang up from nowhere,” says a close source. The clash could have been avoided but neither Salman nor SRK was willing to back out. The source continues, “It has always been a battle of egos — the one who gets a bigger crowd is the winner. When it’s a game of power, no one wants to compromise.”
This one is surely turning out to be the longest cold war ever in Bollywood.
