Salman has full support in Pak
Salman Khan has often proved that no actor worth his name can beat him in popularity. So, when the news about Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger being banned in Pakistan started doing the rounds, it was director Kabir Khan who decided to clear the air.
Apparently, there are three multiplexes in Pakistan that will be inaugurated with the release of ETT, and any ban may affect Pakistan’s film industry.
“Salman is very popular in Pakistan and above all it will be an Eid release. There are a few multiplexes that will open up with ETT. So, it’s not just important for me, Salman and Yash Raj Films but also for Pakistan that the film release in their country,” says Kabir.
Apparently, the makers of ETT will be showing the film to the censor board of Pakistan this week. “There are no offensive scenes or dialogues in the film. We’re confident that we’ll get a clearance from the Pakistan government,” adds Kabir.
According to our sources, Salman has expressed his desire to promote the film in Pakistan as well because of his popularity in the country. But a lot will depend on whether or not the government clears the film.
