Sanjay is impressed

Many superstars have cried themselves hoarse about how it is not easy to please Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But surprisingly, it’s none other than Farah Khan who seems to have cracked the code in her acting debut Shirin Farhad Ki Nikal Padi that is being produced by Sanjay.
With the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukherjee and Manisha Koirala having delivered award-winning performances in his films, the bar was rather high for Farah. But Sanjay was reportedly left “ecstatic” at the ease with which Farah played an overweight woman with awkward mannerisms. And Farah cannot stop smiling. “I have done cameos in the past where I just had to be myself. But here I had to be Shirin — an obese woman who walks with her feet spread out, giving a damn about how she looks. I was nervous at first, but since Sanjay’s satisfied, I guess I can smile as well,” she says.
Given that a heroine or two have actually cried on Sanjay’s sets in the past, this is surely a “fat” achievement for Farah.
