Sanjay looks to shock some more

If Shootout At Lokhandwala surprised you, the next offering in the series will leave you shocked. Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala will be formally announced soon, but the makers are already planning to incorporate plenty of shock moments to keep the viewer wide eyed.

“Sanjay and (producer) Ekta Kapoor want to take this film to the next level. They also want to make sure it’s not just a regular thriller. The audience won’t be surprised by the same tricks that were used in Shootout At Lokhandwala, so Sanjay is digging deeper to add enough meat to the next one,” says a source from the film’s writing team.
“When SAL was released, viewers were surprised to see such a shootout taking place in a civilian locality. They had read about it in papers, but hadn’t seen it in such a realistic manner,” says Sanjay, who had produced the film, with Apoorva Lakhia donning the director’s hat. — JT
