Sanjay wraps up his commitments
Sanjay Dutt may have been trapped in a web of controversies ever since the Supreme Court judgment regarding his case. But the actor has decided to wrap up as many of his commitments as possible, on impending films like Zanjeer and Policegiri, in the time he has before his sentence begins.
Sanju, it seems, has been granted permission by the authorities to finish work on his films. “On a priority basis, he will wind up Policegiri. Sanjay was already shooting for the film when the Supreme Court verdict was announced. That threw the 40-day schedule of the film off track. The rest of his films like Zanjeer, Peekay and Ungli only need minor portions to be shot,” said one trade analyst.
Mortified and disillusioned, sources say Sanjay is likely to be back on the sets this week. “He might be disturbed, but Sanjay is determined to give 100 per cent to his work. He won’t let the current state of affairs affect his work,” said a close associate. Meanwhile, the film industry has expressed support for the actor.
