Sunny Deol is hoping to ride the success wave of Yamla Pagla Deewana and revive his acting career.
Sunny says health issues disrupted his steady run in Bollywood. “Until 2004, I managed to do very well with films like Betaab, Sunny, Arjun, Chalbaaz, Damini, Darr and Ghayal. Then my health gave way and I had to quit. But hopefully, that phase is behind me,” the actor says.
Sunny will now be seen in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Kashi Ka Assi. Sunny says, “The film is based on the changing value system. There’s a lot of action in it, which is great because I want to get back to where I was. In fact, I already am — so you will see me doing a lot of movies. A romcom with Kangna Ranaut and Madhavan is also on the cards.”
