A second coming for Kainaz

Ekta Kapoor may have announced a sequel to Ragini MMS, but the star of the original film, Kainaz Motivala, is unsure whether she will be a part of the project or not. “I would love to be a part of it,” she says, “but Ekta hasn’t

said anything about it to me as yet. Moreover, the details of the project aren’t clear — will it be a prequel, or will it be a new story with different characters? Moreover, why would Ragini go back to a haunted house? All I know is that I will always be grateful to Ekta and would love to be a part of any project that she wants me to be in.”
Ekta may just have more projects for Kainaz, considering all the talk about her falling out with longtime protégé Prachi Desai. But instead of getting embroiled in petty politics, Kainaz is basking in her newfound fame. “The media attention has increased, but apart from that, I wouldn’t say things have changed all that much,” she says. — BNS
