Shah Rukh metes out ‘poetic’ justice to Vidya
If there’s one woman who can inspire Shah Rukh Khan to write poetry, it is Vidya Balan. Friends of the actress say that SRK recently wrote a couplet for Vidya, praising her in no uncertain terms. Now the story goes that Vidya — who is a huge fan of the legendary poet Mirza Ghalib — always has a shayari ready whenever she runs into the
King Khan. And quick-witted though he is, SRK has until now, always been left blushing by Vidya’s complimentary shayaris. But this once, he decided to have the upper hand.
“Recently, when Vidya and Shah Rukh ran into each other, he completely surprised her by rattling off a couplet that was so appreciative of Vidya. What’s more, he had written it expressly for her. SRK and Vidya have always had this exchange of friendly repartee,” our source says.
Now here’s so much talent that we were hitherto unaware of! Maybe Vidya and SRK should both try their hand at writing lyrics for our films. Lord knows, our film industry could always do with a fresh infusion of talent. What say?
