Shahid admits lot riding on Mausam fate

Shahid Kapur has a lot riding on his next release Mausam, especially since he hasn’t been seen on the big screen in a long time. But the actor certainly doesn’t seem to be suffering from any anxiety on that account. “I’m aware that I haven’t had a release in a long time, but Mausam is going to make up for all that,” he says.
Mausam itself took 18 months to make, but Shahid says the protracted shoot schedule didn’t test his patience: “I was very tolerant because I always knew that Mausam would take a long time to make. Dad wanted to capture all the four seasons, and very realistically so.”
Of course, as everyone knows, this movie is also special to Shahid because he’s made it with his dad, Pankaj Kapur, and the duo have much invested in its outcome. So will their 18-month investment pay rich dividends?
