Shahid flies a Tornado

Shahid Kapur, who is currently shooting for father Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam, is putting in a lot of effort and training hard to play the part of an air force officer realistically. Unit sources reveal that “the actor has already taken flying lessons and permissions to shoot at the Royal Air Force base in Leuchars were also obtained. However, obtaining permission to fly a Tornado — a battle aircraft at the Air Force base — was tough. After a lot of negotiations and convincing, he was finally allowed to fly. Director Pankaj Kapur had got permission for just one day so the entire sequence had to be completed within that time frame. Luckily for them, they were able to. The rest of the shoot will be completed in Hyderabad in India.”
The second schedule is all set to begin very soon. The film looks promising especially with Pankaj Kapur at the helm of things.
