Shahid’s still in seclusion

Once upon a time, Shahid Kapur was one of the more sociable actors among the young B’town set. But after Mausam bombed, Shahid went into a self-imposed seclusion. Six months later, the actor doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of ending his hibernation.
“Mausam was a huge heartbreak for Shahid, so how could anyone expect him to emerge all chirpy and smiling?” asks a source close to the actor. “He’s now looking at coming back into circulation with a bang — but only after he has a few big projects to announce up his sleeve.”
Unfortunately, that may take some time as Shahid has been more in the news of the projects he’s backing out of than the ones he’s taking up. “Shahid doesn’t want to take any risks now,” his associate added. “He has worked hard to get onto the top-10 bracket in Bollywood, and he wants to take up projects that will make him happy.”
