Shahid, Sonam make the big shoot switch

Bumps that come along with the whole filmmaking process aren’t unusual and Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam is seeing one of those rainy days. His son Shahid Kapoor has taken two days off from the shooting of Mausam. The reason? He has been advised rest after he injured his back and hamstring muscles. For the time being, he will not be shooting and to make sure no time is lost, Pankaj will shoot Sonam’s part.
It is reported that Sonam will be playing a mature woman in the film. After being the starry-eyed girl in most of her films, she will finally evolve into a woman in Pankaj’s directorial debut.
A source says, “Initially, Sonam had her own reservations about doing the mature woman role, but she was convinced by Pankaj. In fact, Shahid too has been heard joking about how Mausam has turned them both into adult stars.”
Sonam took her time to work on her new look before starting her shoot. Shahid on the other hand, is catching up on his football with the ongoing World Cup.
