Shahid steps into Salman’s shoes

Shahid Kapoor has always been particular about his styling in films and is known as an actor who likes to experiment. Currently, he is working on his next film Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Word is that Sasha had to watch a lot of Salman Khan films to prepare for his role. “In the film, his character is a fan of Salman Khan. Shahid was required to emulate Salman’s mannerisms and body language for the role. Right from Judwaa to Dabangg 2, Shahid watched all his films and tried his best to pick up Salman’s on-screen style,” says a source.
Being a perfectionist, Shahid was a bit nervous at first. “He rehearsed for weeks before facing the camera. This was his way of paying tribute to Salman and knowing Sasha, he wanted to get his act right,” adds the source.
This is the first time that Shahid will be mouthing a reigning superstar’s dialogues on screen. All eyes are on him to see how well he can pull off a Salman.
