SLB bans cell phones on his sets

Ram Leela is a project that’s close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s heart. Everything about the film has been carefully thought out by SLB. So naturally, the director isn’t too happy about the images from the film’s set, revealing lead pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s looks.

In fact, the director is so angry about the leaks that he’s asked all cast and crewmembers to not carry their cell phones and other devices equipped with a camera on the sets.
“It’s the way he works. SLB wants to maintain a certain exclusivity around his films and its unfair to encroach on that,” his spokesperson said. Ranveer and Deepika had no issues with complying with their director’s request. “They’ve been very cooperative,” SLB’s spokesperson affirmed.
The pixilated nature of the images that have been published makes it evident that they were shot with a cell phone camera. They are not the way the director would want his film represented, and hence these preventive measures, we hear. So the next time anyone wants to meet Ranveer, Dippy of SLB on the sets of Ram Leela, they’ll have to surrender their phones before they proceed any further.
