So what happened ‘tween Aamir-Salman?
One is fearless, the other is perfect, and the alliance between the two is making Bollywood sit up and take notice. We are talking about the rapidly growing friendship between Salman and Aamir Khan. If a mutual admiration society were not enough, now the two Khans are not hesitant to even alter their release dates for each other — a scenario that was unimaginable a few years ago.
It seems that a while back, Salman had happily vacated the June 2012 slot for Aamir’s Dhuan and moved his Ek Tha Tiger to Eid. But since there is no free lunch, and more so, not in Bollywood, Aamir has given his lucky Christmas slot to Salman for Dabangg 2 and postponed the release of Dhoom 3. When contacted, producer Arbaaz Khan didn’t deny the possibility of such a deal being struck: “Bhai (Salman) said that he was ready to start shooting in March and asked me to prepare for a December release. But I haven’t ask him what transpired between him and Aamir.”
