Sonam wants a quiet NYE celebration

While most of her contemporaries are gearing up for New Year performances, Sonam Kapoor has different plans for the festive season. Away from the celebrations in the city, Sonam is headed for a vacation with her girl friends.

“I have no issues with the trend of New Year performances. My cousin Arjun too will be performing at a party. But I am either shooting or making appearances at events for most parts of year. I like the year-end to be ‘me-time’ spent with my loved ones. I won’t sacrifice it for anything,” says Sonam.
While the actress insists that it is her decision entirely, sources tell us that daddy dear, Anil Kapoor, may have had something to do with it. Sonam however was quick to deny it. “That’s not true. Yes, my father has a few do’s and don’ts when it comes to me, but he is not the type who will impose anything on his children.” Allegedly, Shatrughan Sinha too has a few strict rules laid out for his daughter Sonakshi Sinha.
