Sonu’s the new villain

Sonu Sood has become one of the most sorted actors in the industry, courtesy the back-to-back successes of Dabangg and Bhuddah Hoga Tera Baap. His daredevil stunts and his display of six-pack abs have opened newer avenues for the actor.
Sonu, who is thriving on his bad boy image these days, insists on doing the stunts himself. An industry insider says, “Today, there’s no actor in the industry who can be called a villain. In the past, Amjad Khan and Pran ruled the roost for decades, thanks to their bad man image. And now, Sonu too seems to be rejoicing his new found status.”
Incidentally, Sonu has found his idol in action star Akshay Kumar. Says Sonu, “I enjoy doing my own stunts. I feel so much in control. But, its incorrect to call me negative lead or action hero. Hopefully, I’ll have my own style soon. Just give me some time,” he says.
