Sri tries to mend fences

She is hailed as the biggest female star of the Hindi film industry. Sridevi, who made a roaring comeback last year, is currently basking in the glory of being honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri title. On the personal front, Sridevi now wants to start afresh with husband Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor. Word has it that the actress is taking a keen interest in Arjun’s progress as an actor. Apparently, she has expressed her desire to watch his next film Aurangzeb. The film might be ready but YRF hasn’t yet had a screening for the cast or for the industry.
“Sridevi thinks Arjun has the potential to make it big as an actor. Aurangzeb is a film that will have a huge impact on Arjun’s career. She wants to watch the film, so that she can give an opinion. She recently went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar with her friends and prayed for the entire family,” say sources close to the actress. Clearly, the veteran actress wants the best for Arjun. With their current ruffled equations, we wonder if Arjun will reciprocate and appreciate her concern.
