SRK gives KJo a miss

This is perhaps the first time in filmmaker Karan Johar’s career that he has made a film without his “best friend” Shah Rukh Khan. Karan Johar’s upcoming film Student Of The Year stars newcomers, but the man could not think of not having his lucky mascot SRK and Kajol for a special appearance.

While Kajol agreed to make a cameo in SOTY, it’s believed that SRK refused. No doubt when Karan announced Kajol’s guest appearence, he said, “Kajol was the only one who has agreed to do a special appearance. She is my lucky charm. I’m happy that she agreed to do a special appearance in SOTY.”
The filmmaker might not have said it in many words but the message was clear that SRK refrained from his film. Earlier it was reported that SRK too would do a cameo in the film. But Karan mentioned and thanked only Kajol playing the lucky charm this time as well.
Is SRK’s absence from the film connected to their alleged fall out? Karan was unreachable for comments.
