SRK’s loss may help Lolo win big
Last year, Shah Rukh Khan had bet big on 3D, and two of his films — Ra.One and Don 2 — boasted of the technology, but sadly enough for King Khan, the whole process of converting 2D shots into 3D animations didn’t really win him any brownie points.
Learning from that exercise is Vikram Bhatt, whose Dangerous Ishq has also invested big in the technology.
In fact, instead of converting 2D into 3D, Vikram decided right at the onset to make a 3D film. “Every shot was painstakingly taken. Moreover, the crew was also hired from the West to be competent in the Bollywood scenario,” a member from the technical team says.
Vikram, without naming anybody in particular, says, “The films which have been converted from 2D to 3D have spoilt the taste of the audience. People have turned apprehensive about whether the end result would be indeed worth it. But I can tell you that after seeing Dangerous Ishq, they would have a different mindset altogether.” — JT
