Sunny plans filmi return

Having had no major film hit the marquee for a while now, Sunny Deol is carefully working towards engineering a Bollywood comeback of sorts.

And to ensure that the film is a success, Sunny has signed up his “lucky” director Anil Sharma, who’s given Sunny hits like Gadar and Apne. Sunny and Anil will now work on a film called Singh Saheb the Great.
“Action is currently all the rage in Bollywood and Sunny is the original action hero — whether it was in Ghayal, Narasimha or Gadar,” says Anil.
The film is currently in the pre-production stage. “We’ll start shooting for the film in October or November. We will sign an actress by next month,” says Anil. This film will again see Sunny portray a turbaned look. But won’t it get monotonous? “Sunny’s films are character driven, he never caters to any community or a target audience,” Anil asserts. But will the film get Sunny’s career back on track? Only time will tell.
