There’s no hating this love story

Tarun Mansukhani recently unveiled the first look of Karan Johar’s production I Hate Luv Stories. “The first-ever promotional shoot for the Imran Khan-Sonam Kapoor-starrer, I Hate Luv Stories has just released. I think Sonam looks great as usual in her new look,” said Tarun as he presented the teaser.
The film, directed by debutant director Punit Malhotra, has been in the news ever since Imran said he drew his inspiration for his character from Akshay Kumar. “I was at a loss as to how to play this confident and suave character, who is a hit with the ladies. After some deliberation, I decided to base it on Akshay. I have met him twice and I have found him very cool and chilled out. The character needed to be like that, so it was a good fit,” Imran said.
Imran plays a 23-year-old flirt in the film, trying to charm every pretty girl who comes his way. Sonam, who plays the lead opposite Imran, is a staunch advocate of love stories. Samir Dattani adds the twist to this tale.
