He’s known more for putting his celeb friends on the spot when he engages them in the rapid fire round on his talk show. But with promotional work on two of his most ambitious projects: Agneepath and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu clashing (not to mention the shoot schedule of his Student Of The Year), Karan Johar now finds himself on the other side of the fence. Friends of the filmmaker say he has been very hassled since the past few days, and signs of the strain are showing.
Of course, Karan hadn’t foreseen such a situation arising, but with date issues plaguing both Ek Main... and Agneepath, a delay was inevitable.
Putting up a brave front, Karan says, “I am trying to squeeze it all between the productions. The unit members feel really guilty about reaching out to me with any issues, because they know I am overworked. Frankly, I wouldn’t advise anyone to direct a film while also simultaneously handling production of two other films. It really tires you out.”
